Tips are 100% voluntary. No restaurant can legally add a mandatory service charge to your bill. Tipping is a choice, and a generous one when the service earns it. There are also no minimum consumption rules. You can sit down, order what you want, and enjoy the experience at your own pace.
Free purified water is your right. Every restaurant must provide free filtered house water upon request. You can order premium bottled water, but clean drinking water at no charge is the law. Additionally, service cannot be denied based on nationality, gender, or race. You are always entitled to an itemized receipt for everything you ordered.
