Golf Los Cabos

With 18 total choices and 16 world class courses Los Cabos dominates the world of Golf in Mexico. Voted year after year as one the worlds top golf destinations, this reputation is well deserved. During this Spring lockdown the courses are being revamped and ready for play this summer season. With so little play and plenty of time to maintain, you can rest assured these courses have never looked better. So here we go with our insiders guide to golf Los Cabos.

First up the newest course in Los Cabos is Rancho San Lucas.

The Ranch proudly offers a beachfront course designed by Greg Norman. The 7,210-yard layout is specifically tailored to Cabo’s terrain and locale, creating a sustainable golf experience that flows naturally with the dune and desert landscape. The multi-themed, ‘least-disturbance’ layout spans three different ecosystems and features sweeping ocean views from every hole.

Diamante Dunes- Davis Love III-Private

The Dunes Course has received many accolades since opening in 2009, including  being ranked #36 in the world by GOLF Magazine. Eighteen holes sit among some of the most dramatic sand dunes in the world. “You’re either playing toward the ocean, along the ocean or away from the ocean,” says course designer Davis Love III. “And then, at times, you’re down in the dunes and you pop up and are surprised all over again by the incredible views of the ocean.”

Diamante Cardonal- Tiger Woods- Private

In 2014, Diamante opened up Tiger Woods’ first golf course design—El Cardonal—adding to both Diamante’s and Los Cabos’ reputation as a world-class golf destination.

Influenced by the old-style courses of Southern California that he grew up playing, Tiger created a course that brings back the need for strategy—providing players with several shot options to navigate during each hole. The course is long enough to challenge expert players, but open enough to provides options for those with higher handicaps. It truly is a fun test for golfers of all skill levels.

Diamante Oasis Short Course- Tiger Woods- Private

Diamante opened its latest golf creation in December 2016—The Oasis Short Course. This Tiger Woods designed 12-hole par three course features a palapa bar, practice green, event lawn, and a mile long perimeter concrete jogging and hiking trail. The course layout is extremely flexible and can be played as a 12 hole par three course or a three-hole loop with a par 3, 4 and 5, among other potential configurations.

Quivira- Signature Nicklaus- Semi-Private

Opened six years ago, Quivira Golf Club has quickly established itself as one of the best new courses in the world. The dazzling layout  was recently voted to Golf Digest’s elite roster of the “World’s 100 Greatest Golf Courses.” The dramatic cliffside holes are simply awe inspiring.

Cabo San Lucas CC- Pete Dye original and a re design in 2019-

This is the closest course to downtown Cabo. With its skillful design and challenging layout it is a great course for all levels of golfers. This World Class Golf Facility has panoramic views of Land’s End that no other Golf Course in Cabo San Lucas can claim. There are also outstanding views of the Sea of Cortez from virtually each hole.

Cabo Del Sol- Desert Tom Weiskopf- Public

The Cabo Del Sol Desert Course is a stunning oasis winding through canyon-like arroyos framed by lush desert landscapes and picturesque mountain backdrops. Designed by Tom Weiskopf—the master of desert golf—the Cabo Del Sol Desert Course blends breathtaking scenery with a pure challenge, all while offering beautiful ocean views from every hole.

Cabo Del Sol- Cove Club- Signature Nicklaus- Semi Private

The Jack Nicklaus Signature Cove Club Golf Course (formerly the Ocean Course) has set the bar for the Los Cabos golf experience since opening for play in 1994. Stretching for more than a mile along the Sea of Cortéz, the Cove Club Golf Course features four unforgettable ocean-front holes perched above roaring waves of the Sea. Under the watchful eye of Jack Nicklaus, enhancements include upgraded playing surfaces, new bunkers and several new holes. The improved guest experience includes a few surprises and delights during your round.

Another highly anticipated new course has opened. Twin Dolphin Golf Club by Freddie Couples is sculpted from the rich Baja terrain, the course design at Twin Dolphin Club reflects this same thoughtful vision beautifully, amidst canyon-like arroyos, undulating grounds, and expansive views of the Sea of Cortez. Twin Dolphin Golf Club creates a truly personalized, enjoyable experience for members of all skill levels. With their undulating greens, dramatic elevation changes, impeccable fairways and natural bunkering it is a fresh new course for private members and guests of the Montage Los Cabos resort.

At Chileno Bay Golf & Beach Club enjoy a golf experience like no other on this Tom Fazio designed championship course. The unique design takes members on a journey toward the mountains while delighting with ocean views. A relaxed style allows members to play barefoot with the kids, play the boom boxes or get serious round with your neighbors. This is what a modern private club is all about. The comfort stations are incredibly stocked so you will have plenty of delicious food and high end steering fluid to maximize your Cabo experience.

Cabo Real Golf Club features a multi-themed, target-style course designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr. The recent reversal of the club’s nines have greatly enhanced the layout’s flow and drama.

In its current configuration, Cabo Real’s front nine, completely refashioned by Jones from a pre-existing layout, provides a scenic, gentle test with broad fairways tumbling down to the Sea of Cortes.

With breathtaking holes chiseled into desert foothills at the foot of rugged mountain peaks, Cabo Real’s longer back nine presents a great test of golf and possibly the toughest nine in Cabo.

El Dorado Golf and Beach Club

Jack Nicklaus crafted a masterpiece at El Dorado Golf and Beach Club. This was his second course when it opened. It was completely redesigned as a private club to make way for the residences and

Beach Club in 20004. This is a very private club so unless you know a member it is off limits. This is the playground for the rich and famous. They set the gold standard for exclusive golf snd beach club with a focus on relaxed yet sophisticated elegance.

Palmilla Golf Club is famous for 27 holes of amazing golf and spectacular vistas. It has been recognized as the “Grand Dame of Los Cabos golf.” As the first Jack Nicklaus Signature design in Latin America, the masterfully conceived golf course is stunning and challenging. This Cabo golf course is an affordable option and features spectacular vistas of the Sea of Cortez from all 27 holes. Palmilla Golf Club features a Mexican decor clubhouse, on-site golf shop and an expert staff to help provide you with superior customer service for your every golf need.

Querencia

Acclaimed architect Tom Fazio drew inspiration from the vivid landscape, creating Querencia as his first project in Mexico. “Once I experienced this land, I knew it was an extraordinary setting for world-class golf. I’ve designed the course to maximize views of downtown San Jose del Cabo and the Sea of Cortez and provide a fair balance of risks and rewards.”

Reserved only for Members and their personal guests, the award-winning

Querencia course is a haven for those seeking a truly private Cabo golf experience.

Querencia has been named the best golf course in Mexico by Golfweek magazine and consistently ranked in the top 100 worldwide by Golf Digest. The area of Los Cabos is steeped in elite sporting tradition, with golf courses drawing avid players from around the world every year. Marked by flowing transitions, challenging topography and a true home course ambiance only exclusive residential clubs can claim, Querencia stands out among the best.

Club Campestre

Another Nicklaus Design golf course is Club Campestre, the centerpiece of a 550-acre master-planned community.

The layout’s verdant fairways, chiseled into sloping desert terrain, offer players fine views of the Sea. Vast sandy waste areas, big flashed-face bunkers and sinu-ous arroyos snaking across the fairways call for careful course management. The true character of the golf course lies in Campestre’s undulating, multi-tiered greens, which are among the most liberally contoured putting surfaces in Los Cabos.

Always in top condition, Campestre is a local favorite and represents the best value in Los Cabos.

Vidanta Municipal Nine Hole- this was the very first course in Los Cabos. Located right off Highway 1. This is a good nine hole design and the lowest priced golf in town. Play it twice from different tees to make it a round of 18.

Puerto Los Cabos- Tucked within a 2,000-acre master-planned resort community on the East Cape, a short 10-minute drive from the historic downtown area of San Jose del Cabo, Puerto Los Cabos is a 27-hole golf resort, featuring three distinct courses designed by two of the sport’s most legendary figures, Greg Norman and Jack Nicklaus.

They are building the final nine to complete two courses perched above the Sea of Cortez and etched into rolling desert foothills and backdropped by the Sierra de la Laguna Mountains. The views from the course are unparalleled and showcases the rare combination of beautiful desert and pristine coastline, which is only found on the majestic Baja Peninsula.

And finally we come to Costa Palmas East Cape

Another new and exciting golf experience awaits you north of Los Cabos on the gorgeous East Cape. Yet another new world-class 18-hole championship golf course featuring desert and ocean views, perfectly manicured fairways that unravel down hillsides. An emerald symphony composed of three movements and three transitions, accentuated by shades of blue. Another masterpiece designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. that sets the golf experience in Baja a world apart. This is The Costa Palmas Golf Club, a destination that is both inspired by and enhances the East Cape’s natural beauty.

This concludes our update on Golf Los Cabos here in the Amazing Baja. This video was brought to you by Cabos Finest your insider’s guide to Los Cabos.

Los Cabos Update May 14, 2020 Cabo Marina, Pedregal, and Sol Mar Beach

Hi, I am KT Morgan the host and videographer of Cabosfinest.com, your “Insider’s Guide” to Los Cabos.

Well, Cabo lovers we just finished up the second week of May. This Spring weather is gorgeous. We have been receiving some big swells from the south but the ocean has calmed down. We are flying over the Cabo Marina, Pedregal, and Solmar Beaches today for this week’s Los Cabos Update. Pedregal was the first luxury development in Los Cabos. A labor of love that has been five decades in the making. Many gorgeous villas are for sale here, with many owners renting theirs at steep nightly prices. The cliffside villas are stunning and have been featured in major magazines the world over. The beach at Pedregal is deep with soft sand that drops off steeply into the Pacific Ocean at the southern tip of the Baja.

Want to see all the villas for sale?

Next up is the beautiful Waldorf Astoria de Pedregal, formerly know as Capella Pedregal. You access this luxury resort through a chandelier-lit private tunnel. Next door is the historic Finnistera Hotel, one of the original hotels back in the early days, located beside the massive Playa Grande. And the final resort is the newest Grand Solmar resort at Land’s End which is the southernmost resort on the Baja. Now let’s take another look at Solmar Beach from afar. You can see the marina and downtown Cabo San Lucas from here.

Los Cabos has so many gorgeous beaches, the most popular is Medano Beach where all the hotels are spread out on the beach in Cabo San Lucas. They are happy to have you dine at their restaurants, what a great way to check out all the pools and pool bars, make a reservation! You may find a resort you love and want to book for your next trip. Or look into Air B and B, lots of great rental condos and villas are at your disposal.

Other great beaches are Santa Maria where the luxury new Montage Resort and Residences is situated. But the beach is still public of course, they all are in Mexico if you can access them. The same applied to Chileno Bay, you can make a reservation at the renowned Comal restaurant and Bar for un-upgraded experience in dining. Want to live in either of these places? You have options, just ask us!

Los Cabos has so many fascinating areas and pueblos, it’s a delight to explore them all!

Well, this concludes this week’s update on Los Cabos. We look forward to reopening soon. This is brought to you by Cabosfinest.com, your insider’s guide to Los Cabos.

Top Ten Restaurants of Los Cabos, 2020.

This is a cultivated list from our many years as patrons and reviewers for our website Cabosfinest.com. We encourage everyone to try more than these ten outstanding restaurants. This list offers a variety of styles as well as prices. This is intended to recognize the very finest that Los Cabos has to offer.

Alcaravea Gourmet
This has been voted one of the top Italian Restaurants in Los Cabos. Head chef and owner Enrique Diaz has a devoted passion for his Mediterranean style menu and European style service. He has transformed the modest street-side cafe into an intimate white table cloth gourmet restaurant. His prices are moderate and his quality is divine. The lunch special is one one the best values in Los Cabos. Choose from locally produced farm-fresh vegetables to complement his wide selection of seafood, meats and pastas. They offer a well-stocked bar and a wide range of wines by the glass or bottle service.

LOCATION
Alcaravea, Ignacio Zaragoza s/n, Cabo San Lucas, Baja California Sur 23470, Mexico
CONTACT PHONE NUMBER 624 129 8333
BUSINESS HOURS:
Open: 11:00 am – 11:00 pm MONDAY TO SATURDAY – CLOSED SUNDAYS

El Peregrino
Just up the street from Alcaravea is a locals favorite called El Peregrino. This family-owned restaurant has a bistro meets Cabo vibe. They have mastered their offerings and we typically go there hungry due to their good-sized portions. The Asian Tuna Carpaccio is a must-try starter. I find it hard not to order the 14 hour slow-cooked ribs. Another favorite is the Shrimp Scampi with white wine sauce. They also are well known for the steak menu. The bar is very affordable and they have a modest selection of regional and international wines.

It is a small and busy restaurant that has opened a second location called Kauil. So if you can not get a reservation for El Peregrino be sure to try Kauil.

Address Esq. Zaragoza y 20 de Noviembre, Cabo San Lucas

Nick San Cabo and Palmilla.
Back in 1985, Angel Carbajal met the Japanese restaurateur Masayuki Niikura. Niikura San enjoyed spending his vacation in Los Cabos and was a regular of the restaurant that Chef Angel Carbajal managed. When friends of Niikura showed up at the restaurant, he asked Carbajal, who was the manager, whether he would allow Niikura to step behind the bar and prepare sushi for his friends. Chef Carbajal said yes… and the rest is history. Japanese Chef Masayuki Niikura and Chef Angel Carbajal have been blowing the minds of sushi lovers in Cabo for decades. If you have ever eaten at an authentic high-quality sushi restaurant then you will no doubt love his fresh and creative menu.
With 75% of his ingredients being imported from Japan, you can’t find better quality Japanese food anywhere in North or South America.
From the delightful lobster roll to everyone’s favorite tune tostada, Nick and Angel’s team love to spoil their patrons with great service that will leave you more than satisfied. Located just off the Marina in the heart of Cabo and now with a second location in San Jose at the Tiendas Palmilla.

Flora’s Farm is a world unto itself.
What started off as a 25-acre organic farm has turned into one of the most sought after experiences in Mexico. Flora’s Field Kitchen is the nucleus of this vision. Serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the middle of the garden makes the farm to table concept extra fast and fresh.
The day begins very early as the staff begins baking the loaves of bread, harvesting the crops and preparing the menu for the day’s guests, the various private events, and high society weddings that may occur on any given day.
The experience gives you the feeling of wellness and balance that is incorporated into their menu and way of life. It is actually a simple formula, combining hand made food using farm-fresh ingredients.
What they have accomplished on this 25 acres is amazing, every corner has been utilized yet feels open and not cramped.

The Office on the Beach
Before Cabo was the ‘in’ place in Baja, the Office began as an open-aired palapa shaded ultra-small restaurant with great salsas. Today it is the most famous beach restaurant in Los Cabos.
We especially love the breakfast menu and exceptional service. And yes, the various salsas are still authentic and very best in town. Lunch is especially festive and you will find large groups and families spending hours savoring the fresh seafood, buckets of beer, and fresh margaritas. The kids can swim right in front and shopping from the venders. Friday night is popular being Mexican Fiesta night.
THE best breakfast in town!
Insider tip – keep five receipts and get a free t-shirt or hat. I have dozens of each, so I guess I’m a fan. You won’t leave disappointed.

La Revolucion in historic San Jose del Cabo. Led by general manager bruno, executive chef benito molina (of ensenada’s esteemed manzanilla), la revolución is one of the most talked about openings in los cabos…
Located in downtown San Jose del Cabo in the center of the art district, la revolución is a contemporary Mexican restaurant that aims to revolutionize the conventional ways of doing things in a restaurant. Renowned Mexican chef Benito Molina has created an enticing menu inspired by the Baja California peninsula. Their cocktail menu is worth going by itself but be sure to let them guide you with some paired tapas or do the full evening of gastronomy.

The first thing that strikes you is the gorgeous historic building with a gin bar on the roof. They have completely refurbished this into a chic downtown bar and restaurant. The quality of the food speaks for itself. A favorite place on Thursday Art Walks so that night you will need to make a reservation.

Edith’s Restaurant & Bar
Edith’s is a vivid combination of the Cuisine of Baja California with a Guerreran flair, featuring a regional fusion of steaks and seafood with local ingredients.
Offering a privileged view of Medano Beach and the world-famous arch of Cabo San Lucas, candle lights and palapas set the atmosphere for an unforgettable culinary experience.
Prime cuts of utmost quality imported beef and freshly-caught local fish and lobster, along with Fresh salads, chile poblano, and hand-made tortillas are just a few expressions of the culinary celebration of life in the Baja. You choose your fresh cut then enjoy a tableside Cesar Salad performance while waiting for your entree. The desserts are equally wonderful as is the traditional Mexican coffee show.

Now lets shift gears as we upscale to the high-end restaurants. First up is Seared at the One and Only Palmilla Resort. Seared is the latest addition to the culinary skills of chef Jean-Georges. A gourmet Los Cabos Steakhouse where they present the finest possible steaks and freshest seafood along with the most comprehensive list of wines from Mexico.
From grade A5-Wagyu and Kobe beef to succulent steaks and tenderloins, 15 different cuts of meat of the highest quality are prepared according to precise standards, which competes with restaurants of the world’s most recognized grills. The menu also takes full advantage of the sea, with lobsters, delicious seafood, and hamachi sashimi.

Cocina de Autor- More than a restaurant, Cocina de Autor is a Grand Velas concept; a sensorial dining experience of fine gastronomy led by two Michelin Star Head Chef Sidney Schutte of the Netherlands. This is a culinary tour that reflects the culture and life around us.  The lounge area is the perfect place to unwind with a cocktail and begin your culinary odyssey. After your cocktail enjoy a playful 8-10 course tasting menu showcasing the finest fresh produce and local meats and seafood. The dining room is gorgeous and shows the level of attention given to this star of the resort. It is rare for an all-inclusive resort restaurant to reach this level of perfection. This is certainly the exception to that rule.

And finally, we bring you Comal-Voted the top restaurant in Los Cabos.
Comal is a wonderfully inventive restaurant located at Chileno Bay Resort. Here’s where to find Cabo’s most innovative takes on regional flavors and traditions like braised short rib with cacao broth—set against a contemporary indoor-outdoor space spread across three levels, and dramatic Sea of Cortez backdrop…
Serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
For the evening come early and enjoy cocktails prepared meticulously by Osvaldo Vazques and his mixologists. Executive Chef Yvan Mucharraz finds joy in guests gathered around his inspired takes using the freshest local catch, from giant totoaba to sea bass, telling their own stories, and creating taste memories that linger long after they’ve left Chileno Bay.
Watch the colors of the sunset over the Sea of Cortez while dining at one of the top restaurants in Mexico. Whether you are celebrating a special occasion or just delighting in another day in paradise Comal will elevate your Cabo experience.

This concludes the 2020 top ten restaurants of Los Cabos.

Los Cabos Update May 2020

Well Cabo fans, we have made it through April lockdown. Today we decided to sneak out of our headquarters and take you on an updated tour of Los Cabos. First up is Hotel Row in San Jose del Cabo. Fired up the drone to capture these amazing views of our completely empty beaches.

Not a soul to be seen all the way to Palmilla Point. Back in the truck we head into downtown San Jose and see it is equally quiet. A few people on the streets but otherwise it appears that most everyone is staying indoors. With only one person allowed per vehicle, I am videoing these scenes while driving to the store to pick up some essential food and adult beverages. Oakley is my assistant today to warn me if he sees any “Policias”. We pulled over to do a flyover of the town square and the beautiful Mision San Jose Del Cabo.

Now we are driving through the historic art district with the colorful street decorations. There are many parked cars but very few people anywhere. This has always been one of our favorite parts of San Jose as you can see there are restaurants, art galleries, and the wonderful Boutique El Encanto Hotel. On the way back through the corridor, we stopped to fly over Santa Maria Bay and the new Montage Los Cabos. This is one of many amazing new luxury properties here. They have selected one of the best locations in Los Cabos right on the half-moon shaped Santa Maria bay. This is right in the middle of Los Cabos along this gorgeous shoreline.

Now let’s go over to Land’s End and Cabo San Lucas Bay. We have been enjoying fantastic Spring weather mostly indoors. We are so fortunate to live in this great climate. Having Oakley to walk and ourselves to keep fit we have been able to get out daily for morning walks, runs, and hikes. The beaches are all closed as you can see. Everywhere you look is so beautiful and the area has never looked better. Many of the resorts are already bringing back some of their workers to get ready for the Summer season. I am happy to report the lockdown is scheduled to end May 30th. The first guests will be arriving the first week in June. You can rest assured knowing the Los Cabos that you love will be ready. The resorts are all refreshed, the streets have been cleaned, the beaches are sparkling and everyone is ready for the tourists to finally return. As you can clearly see Los Cabos is still gorgeous and is a well earned top destination in the World. So if you haven’t already made your travel plans for this Summer please put Cabo on your wish list. We will be sure to have the beers on ice, fish tacos aplenty, and the warm and generous smiles at the ready. We will see you soon at the beach and look forward to saying welcome back to Los Cabos

Hiking with Oakley

Hiking Baja in the Cabo San Lucas hills up to the antennas at the top of the mountain is a fun adventure on the single track trail that starts just past La Vista Development. This trail winds through the desert and is perfect for hikers, dogs, joggers, and mountain bikers. About halfway up the mountainside it joins the gravel road and continues up to the top. Many sweeping vistas can be enjoyed along your ascent at various locations along the way. Serenity and union with nature always delight the soul. So many desert plants and cactus catch the eye. During the times of the year that still have some vivid greenery one can see bright patches of flowers decorating the paths and adorning the rocky formations.

Enjoy this Baja, you will never be disappointed!

What is it like to live in Los Cabos?

We are often asked why we moved to Los Cabos and what it is like to live here? That is an easy question to answer. Los Cabos and Baja California Sur is spectacularly beautiful. We have an amazing slice of paradise on the tip of this gorgeous peninsula. The stark beauty of the mountains and desert often gets overshadowed by the clean empty beaches, rocky coves and sea life filled bays. Our state has more shoreline than any other in Mexico and with far less than a million residents. Did you know we have more shoreline than Florida? Plus we have a mild desert climate in the tropics.

When we first moved here we noticed the majority of new residents were moving here to retire. That has sure changed with the trend toward virtual offices and generous work from home jobs. Once you are liberated and awaken to that fact Los Cabos makes almost every shortlist of places to live. The abundance of natural wonders and wonderful climate are but two reasons. Let us now go a little deeper and discover the other worthy reasons and what it is like for us to live in Los Cabos.

Los Cabos is an International Community

We live in a small neighborhood a few miles from Cabo and are surrounded by neighbors from all over the globe. There are people here from Chile, Spain, Italy, France, Poland, Britain and of course the USA and Canada and all parts of Mexico. You never know what language will be spoken at the pool. But English is prevalent. Although the current political divide is wide, we all get along wonderfully well. Since most everyone is from somewhere else we all strive to help out each other. I find a common bond in my fellow neighbors. We all are here to enjoy a new life and leave the stress behind. Sure things are different but isn’t that the point?

Los Cabos has a modern infrastructure. Our highways, health care facilities, marinas, airports, utilities, and general infrastructure are up to standards and newly upgraded. With the huge number of new retirees and the work from the home trend, we feel confident your investment in real estate in Los Cabos is secure.

Our location allows ease of travel and is ideal for anyone looking for a new place that is convenient for those friends and family left behind. You can always go visit them and vise versa. The number of nonstop flights to the USA and Canada has quadrupled and with our ever-expanding airport the options keep expanding. Plus if there is major hurricane threatening, you can always batten down the hatches, grab the pets and head up Highway 1 ahead of the storm. Just try that on an island.

Mexico enjoys a much lower cost of living.

It is no surprise that you can keep more of your hard-earned cash in Mexico. Sure there are some of the most expensive luxury resorts, restaurants, and private communities in the world in Los Cabos. There are plenty of affordable alternatives. In fact, most expenses are less than major US cities. From taxes, food, education, medical, insurance, and housing. You just need to know your best options and where to go just like anywhere else. With our Insider’s Guide to Los Cabos, you will become a local expert in no time at all.

Los Cabos offers great Health Care alternatives. Not only do we enjoy modern clinics, but hospitals, dentists and health care providers’ costs are lower and the insurance is also a fraction of the price you’d expect to pay up north.

Another big reason we love living here is that Los Cabos is fun and offers a huge range of exciting recreational options. Life is too short so enjoy a warm, fun-filled life. Besides world-famous fishing and golfing we have everything, you need for an active lifestyle. The list is too long so just trust me on this one we have everything except the cold winter sports to keep you active. Plus with all this fresh air, great weather and organic produce you may discover a new healthier self.

Here is another great reason to live here, the Cuisine.

Los Cabos has an internationally acclaimed restaurant scene. I don’t know about you but we just love great food. One of the things we love most is the wide variety of restaurants in which to choose. Anywhere from Michelin star quality fine dining to the best street tacos on the planet, variety and quality abound. First off are the amazing Mexican restaurants. There are Mexicans from all over the country bringing their best regional dishes so you can count on the best authentic Mexican food for sure. Plus you have an expanding list of new options from all over the planet. So if you craze variety and quality in your diet Los Cabos is for you.

Now for the last and perhaps best reason to make Los Cabos your home, the warm and friendly Mexican Culture. Forget what your nervous neighbors and paranoid newsrooms are spouting about Mexico, we have found from first-hand experience that Los Cabos is a safe, secure and wonderful family-oriented community. Sure things are at a slower pace and people work to live versus live to work. This slower pace and focus on family, friends, and fiestas are contagious. We often visit our friends and family up north and every time we return knowing we made a great decision moving to Baja. The flight home is full of happy people looking forward to their Cabo vacation while we smile knowing this is our permanent home. Now that is refreshing.

So whether you are looking for the perfect paradise to retire or a place to start a new life, Los Cabos is an ideal choice.

For more details, we are happy to assist you. In fact, that is exactly what we do. You will love your new Cabo Lifestyle. We sure do!

Cabo Easter Sunday

Feliz Pascua everyone. Today is Easter Sunday and Semana Santa one of the biggest Fiestas in Mexico. Due to the current crisis all non essential stores and beaches are closed…

Im on my way to the store and brought my equipment to share with you how downtown Cabo looks this morning April 12th 2020. As you can clearly see our streets are empty the stores are closed with many of them being boarded up. Here we are at the very center of the nightclubs and Squid Row.

Lets now look at a birds eye view of the marina and Medano Beach. It looks like everyone here is observing the recent social distancing at the marina and beaches. Well we wish you were here but are confident that Cabo will bounce back once the travel ban is lifted. Until then stay Cabo Strong.
