These neighborhoods are perched high above the breaking waves with immense vistas spilling down toward Playa Punta Bella next to Palmilla Sur. Walking on this beach is a favorite pastime of residents who like the miles of soft sand with rocky sculptures, arches, and often swimmable coves. While every beach in Mexico is public, these connecting beaches are hard to get to and typically uncrowded. Both have security gates and maintained roads but few amenities. Having fewer amenities is very appealing for those who do not want expensive recurring HOA fees. Acre Organic Farm to Table Ranch and Residences

This 25-acre destination is best described as an oasis where urban sensibility meets organic farm in the Baja. The heart and soul of this is the award-winning project is the restaurant and bar. The folks at Acre have a deep understanding of the nuances of Mezcal and their private label selection is on display on the rooftop tasting area. They recently added a second breakfast and lunch restaurant called Fausto’s Cafe. This is a welcome addition and is a nice modern cafe with indoor and outdoor dining and bakery.

The farm-to-table idea is a trending as well as a healthy alternative. The herbs, vegetables, and fruits are all farmed by their large and friendly staff that daily harvest for their patrons and lucky villa owners and treehouse renters. We feel fortunate to meet so many wonderful people during our stay in the opulent three-bedroom villa.

The check-in was easy and the tour of the villa was delightful. Downstairs has a front sitting area ideal for book reading. The open floor plan makes the kitchen the center of attention. The long island served as a dining area next to a large comfortable living room and adjacent to the family room with a TV. The pocket doors open to the large backyard featuring another bar, outdoor dining, fireplace, bbq, heat lamp, and heated private pool.

We really loved the ground-floor master suite. The private outdoor shower and two-person velvety smooth redwood soaking tub were enjoyed daily. Upstairs are two well-appointed bedrooms with en-suite and views. The top roof deck is inviting and a great place for sunset cocktails.

Treehouse Hotel: The 12 treehouses are perched above the jungle. Accessed by wide stairs they each have private decks that are well spaced throughout the dense palms. These rustic rooms feature plush king beds and each has bathrooms and outdoor showers. This is an excellent nightly rate option and a fun and unique stay in a boutique hotel treehouse.

Activities around Acre include biking, bocce ball, daily yoga classes, pickleball, ping pong, harvesting, animal rescue, and a most relaxing pool. Acre is a great place for weddings, gatherings, and special occasions. On our first evening, they held a small wedding and the attention to detail was fantastic! The outdoor event was held at the pool and the mango deck where an excellent live band played.

The week passed by like a lazy, relaxing dream. The tranquility seeps deeply. We can see why the members come back and spend multiple weeks each year at Acre. The combination of having a second home with an attentive friendly staff, world-class bar and restaurants, activities, and the relaxed atmosphere created in this jungle oasis in the Baja desert.

Palmitos Residential Pre-construction Condos Cabo San Lucas

There is a preconstruction project that we find interesting. It is on the Pacific side off Hwy 19 just out of town. The developers are well underway on the first 4 buildings. There are mostly three-bedroom condos with a few two bedrooms as well. 

They have plans for common areas with good sized pool area, Clubhouse, Gym, and lounging areas around the pool. These are seven- three-story buildings each with 12 units for 84 total units in Palmitos.

The typical cinder block construction appears solid. they have a decent-sized construction crew and heavy equipment and are making significant headway. The sales have been brisk and they have recently released the 7th G building at pre-construction pricing as follows.
